Seeing Simpler

When anyone starts out creating photographic images, you start with those simple things around us. I certainly had. Then, one might move toward staging or preparing content found within the confines of the frame. Controlling every component seen in the image. That’s what I’ve done for decades, avoiding ‘found scenes.’ Only recently, I revisited that first instinct… just walking, just seeing what’s there and recording that view. Then, all that’s left is framing and snapping. That’s what I’ve done here. Maybe I’m less interested in creating it all these days. Maybe I’m just looking for simpler things. Doing simpler things.
