Crinkling Paper

During one of my usual preparations to photograph my old friend, the chair, the other week, I happened to place a piece of paper into the shot. To give it more body so it wold better hold it’s shape, I crinkled it. Then, I stuck it through the back slats of the chair. I was surprised by the beauty of the light catching every crease and faceted surface. So, I added another piece. Then, another… rigging it to give the illusion of floating. That started a new series. Here are some of those first experiments.
